How about I share some moves because I'm feeling like I can dance very well in the next blog lol, naah guys I'm just kidding I seriously don’t want you guys to be like Gerald from the movie so let me just get started with the Movie review:
Work it!! So, the movie focuses on two female leads that’s a good thing for a dance movie, one is Nerdy Quinn (Sabrina Carpenter) but without glasses and one is a Professional dancer Jasmine (Liza Koshy) in a dance group called ThunderBirds. Things start to go the other way around when nerdy says she’s a dancer for getting into the college and she asks her dancer friend help but unfortunately, she doesn’t get in the group. So, she decides to take her friend away from the group and start their dance team for the competition “Work it”. Yeah, Work it is the name of the competition. There were some good dance moves and even we’re getting to see dance-off between Liza Koshy and the lead of the dance group. the TBD team (a bunch of dancers with their good moves) gets through the qualifiers and gets the chance to get choreographed by one the best dancer but a movie needs to have a twist so Quinn decides to leave the group because her mother wants her to focus on her grades now but ultimately she finds her thing like an instinct that she wants to dance and express, so TBD has to win the competition.
But the Death of Gerald was never anticipated and what he did after watching Fifty Shades of Grey will remain mystery!!
The movie perfectly states one thing: finding your happiness in life is a must to have the thing, because you can be a great footballer player but you’re sitting behind the screen all the time for the sake of grades or you are good at dancing but you choose football because you didn’t want to get judged by the others in your life, there are so many things that hold us back from getting what we want in life. The movie also focuses on never leaving your friend stranded when you fill them with hopes. The movie is filled with a good romance, comedy, and lusting comedy too but one thing that it missed to include a choreographer session with the whole team. Altogether the movie deserves to be watched for sure.
