A Woman who is determined can't be taken down easily!!

Miss India

A Netflix Movie

Directed by Narendra Nath

Firstly, the movie is not about any beauty pageant or something related to fashion but the movie is about showing the world if a woman wants to have a business venture of her own then the world or relatives will be the ones to question her capabilities and one should not listen to their thoughts If one wants to achieve it and the movie had few drawbacks for sure.

So, as a kid Samyuktha (played by Keerty Suresh) had a clear perspective of having her business line after completion of MBA but at earlier age itself she was faced with negligence on her dream/passion from her brother but she was hoping to pursue that with support of her Grandfather.

But here scenes for her dream don’t pan out that simple, her brother gets a job offer from one of the companies in the US and they all decide to move to the US but her grandfather wasn’t happy about his decision of moving to the state. After some emotional dialogues grandfather’s dies while in his sleep due to some reason and they all move to State.

Samyuktha meets up with Vikram and Vikram seems to be a guy who will support her dream persuasion but it doesn’t pan out that way, and the only thing that didn’t line up was her Graduation of Master without even attending a class or submitting an assignment she was named Topper of her class.

I wish if the casting team could have managed to get their hands-on good actors who played the role of an English person in the film, then the movie scenes could have been more eye-catching. I believe this happens with every south movie the team doesn’t get their hands-on good actors when they need some people to act while they shoot outside India.

Samyuktha leaves her brother’s home with the mindset of building her own business and make her grandfather proud but once again she meets a man who even invest in her business and who moves out when the company faces bankruptcy due to some deal which was kind of plan by her ultimate rival who runs his coffee brand in the US to get her out but ultimately she gets support from the local person and she becomes businesswoman of the year and her rival becomes bankrupt this time.

The director or writer could have thought of bringing a male character who becomes her lover and supports her dream till the end but they did the opposite like men didn’t want her to succeed.

The movie is motivating one for young entrepreneurs (male and female) and business is war so if one wants to have a good business then one needs to find their niche and get people who believe in their idea and don’t give up whenever you’re faced with hurdles (including your family and nay-sayers).

The movie is worth watching at least one time, Keerthy Suresh nailed her role though.

Peace.
