A movie that brings out how the little sister of great Sherlock Holmes surpassed him in investigating a crime.
So, let me just drive to the part
Here we’re getting to see How the mother of Enola elopes without saying a word, and she seeks the help of her brother’s the Holmes brother (Sherlock and Mycroft) because the whole world knows they’re the best in investigating the mysteries and crimes. During her time with her brother’s, she gets to know her brothers are not really into wanting her to be the part of the investigation and Mycroft even asks her to behave like a woman first. So, Enola decides to elope from the home right after she found the clues left behind by her mother of whereabouts of her or why she left. And by the end when Sherlock discovers the person behind the crime and reports it to the Police, the Police ask how did your sister got to solve it first and that lead Sherlock to be amazed and impressed by his sister as we get to see him holding his head high with proud and between all the investigating scene we get to see Enola falling her a boy but for what?
During the movie, the writer and director made sure that we get to see how evenly matched are her investigating skills with Sherlock Holmes and how good she’s in solving the mystery by herself and I have to say the whole team did a good job but Millie bobby brown did a terrific job by perfectly portraying the personality of Enola Holmes.
As per me, the movie tries to send out a message that women should not only consider for home chores, for example, we get to see how Mycroft was persuasive of Enola not behaving like a normal well-mannered woman. They should get evenly respect as a man gets in every single profession, believe me sometimes a woman is just way better than a man in the respective profession.
