A Queen who lifts the Sword to dilate her Magic!!

Netflix’s Cursed

Produced by Frank Miller, Tom Wheeler

As the name of the series goes main lead of the lead in the series is cursed by the Dark Lord, I'm not referring to Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter movie here. There’s a dark entity that attacks the main lead Nimue (Katherine Langford) in the cave (she has the power to hear voices which humans can’t hear from a young age itself that’s why she ended up in the cave) while she was just a kid.

So let us dive into the Cave of review on the series:

As per name and trailer of the series goes one gets excited to see a lot of magic, blood spilling, sword swings but unfortunately the series fails in delivering that much of magical fight/scenes in the first season. The cursed girl once who was neglected by her Fey people now gets to be the Queen of the Fey (people with some healing power).

The series starts with its genre in the left hand up corner – Violence, Sex. But series altogether filled with violence over one tribe or group of people – The Fey and without any sexual scenes as genre mentioned.

Though a twist has to be there right! poster of the series shows there is a sword in the hands of Katherine, so one gets the thinking: the sword must have some role to play? Clearing out question’s answer: Sword is the source that provides more power to her magic, can cut down the human’s into two like they’re some butter, it can make one against their loved ones words too and the sword is compared with Sword of King Arthur.

Altogether if one compares The Witcher (another Netflix series) and Cursed then Witcher will see triumph in the comparison, but the producer and Netflix are trying to make a statement in the world that Women’s are also capable of swinging the sword with proper teaching and can protect the loved ones with everything they have and can become a leader towards a greater path.

Though if one continues to watch the series till the end then I promise that one will gets the thinking what will happen in the second season. So, it's worth watching guys but if you have Hemophobia then please watch with some friend because there’s blood spilling.

Peace.
